Prima LT USERS GUIDE

6.1.3 Manual Encoder Configuration
Prima LT’s top-down setups allows easy setup of all encoder (and
decoder) functions in a logical step-by-step procedure that will not
allow improper information to be entered, nor will you be prompted
for unnecessary information.
The next sections describe the encoder configuration choices in the
order that is required to completely set up your Prima LT. Note that
when you set the encoder parameters, the decoder is configured to the
same parameters as well. You must manually configure the decoder
only if any parameters will differ from the selected encoder parameters.

6.1.3.1 Encoder algorithm
The Prima LT supports three basic algorithms, all of which are
described in detail in Section 6.1.
G.722 provides 7.5 kHz audio at 56 or 64 kb/s. MUSICAM enhanced
MPEG Layer II supports bit rates from 24 to 384 kb/s, depending on
Digital Interface Module used, and MPEG Layer 3 supports bit rates
